What Grooming Training Is Provided By Dial A Dog Wash?
Intensive One to One Training (You will have already completed a classroom Induction)
The initial course is designed specifically to give you a bespoke intensive training experience, to ensure that you can safely and confidently groom customers pet dogs from the start of your dog grooming journey, and earn a great income from the start, and that this world-class, one-on-one training is exclusively unlocked when you are ready to launch your mobile territory.
In Brief:
- Intensive initial 5 day course, is provided by our experienced trainers who have a minimum of 15 years grooming experience on all standard pet grooming techniques - What 99% of your daily customers want. (Includes most of the following coat types - Shihtsu, Spaniels, Poo and Doodle Types, Terrier, Bichon)
- You will learn out on the road with your own personal trainer in a Dog grooming van on an area in similar conditions to what to expect when you go out on your first week and ongoing.
- All dogs groomed during training are real customers pet dogs on a real area ( Not all Hand picked) to give you experience of what it will be like out there in the real world of Dog Grooming with all breed/coat types including anxious dogs and also new customers.
What to expect in brief:
Day 1 - Includes from the first dog that you visit, correct use of clippers, scissors, on body, legs and feet, nails, hygiene - full bathing/drying
Day 2 - As Day 1 and also full body clip offs
Day 3 - As day 1 and 2 but also introducing face styling
Day 4 - As previous days, with more focus on faces
Day 5 - Brings everything together so you can groom fully pet dogs
Day 6 and Ongoing - Very Important - 24 hour support - Your own personal experienced dog groomer/trainer, and also any other business support for you on call and or video call from then onwards whenever needed at anytime, with field visits too if necessary.
